The Global Public Speaking Olympiad (GPSO) is Bangladesh's national public
speaking competition, run fully bilingually in Bangla and English across all
64 districts. Season 2026 runs April–October, culminating in the National
Finals in Dhaka on 17 October 2026.

LOGO USAGE — BRAND GUIDELINES
=====================================

1. Choosing the right lockup
----------------------------
LIGHT BACKGROUNDS (cream, white, light photography)
  → Use:  gpso-logo-lockup.svg / .png   (standard / dark ink lockup)

DARK BACKGROUNDS (midnight ink, deep blue, dark photography)
  → Use:  gpso-logo-lockup-dark.svg / .png   (inverted / cream lockup)

Square placements (avatars, app icons, favicons, watermarks)
  → Use:  gpso-logo-mark.svg / .png

Always pick the variant that gives the strongest contrast against the
background. Never place the dark-ink lockup on a dark background or the
inverted lockup on a light background.

2. Clear space
--------------
Maintain a clear-space margin around the logo equal to HALF the height
of the brand mark (the laurel-wreath "G" symbol).

Nothing — no text, no other logos, no UI elements, no photo subjects —
should encroach on this clear-space zone.

3. Minimum size
---------------
To preserve legibility of the wordmark and tagline:

  Brand mark only      →  minimum 24 px tall  (digital)
                          minimum 8 mm tall   (print)

  Horizontal lockup    →  minimum 120 px wide (digital)
                          minimum 30 mm wide  (print)

Below these sizes use only the brand mark, never the lockup.

4. Don'ts — common misuse
-------------------------
DO NOT recolor the logo. Use only the supplied artwork. Royal Gold and
  Midnight Ink are fixed. No gradients, no brand-adjacent palettes.

DO NOT stretch, squash, rotate, or skew the logo. Always scale
  proportionally (hold Shift when resizing).

DO NOT add drop shadows, glows, outlines, bevels, or other effects.
  The lockup is designed to stand on its own.

DO NOT place the logo on busy photography, low-contrast backgrounds,
  or competing patterns. If a photo background is unavoidable, place the
  logo on a solid color block or use a darkened gradient overlay.

DO NOT recreate, retype, or substitute the wordmark with another font.
  Always use the supplied SVG/PNG files.

DO NOT crop the lockup or separate the mark from the wordmark within
  the lockup file. To use the mark alone, download gpso-logo-mark.svg.

5. File format guidance
-----------------------
SVG  →  Print, editorial layout, large displays, anywhere scaling matters.
PNG  →  Web, slides, social, email signatures. Transparent background.
